The production of science, the expansion of research and technology, the realization of the spirit of inquiry, the encouragement of scholarly pursuit, the promotion of creative thought, the exaltation of science in general, the deepening and expansion of science, culture, and human and Islamic values, the elevation of the manifestations of art and aesthetics and the explanation of the scientific heritage of Iranian-Islamic civilization have been considered among the inherent goals and duties of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. In order to achieve these goals, the country's universities and higher education centers, alongside with their educational mission and in order to improve the level of knowledge and technical skills and strive for new findings, have not neglected the issue of research and development. By publishing scientific and research journals, they have provided a suitable platform for reflecting the activities of researchers and scholars in various fields; because scientific and research journals are the best means of publishing and exchanging scientific findings and accumulations, for the promotion and deepening of thoughts and ideas, and for the growth and elevation of the long-standing culture of Islamic Iran, and the preserver and fertilizer of our national heritage. In the interim, heroic literature is a vast field that has a long history in the written heritage of various nations and ethnic groups, especially in the written and oral literature of Iran. Heroic texts have a significant place in Iranian literature before and after Islam, which is a major part of the national and scientific wealth and heritage of the children of this land; therefore, it is appropriate to provide arrangements for the specific reflection of valuable research that analyzes heroic literature, which has made a great contribution to the formation and perpetuation of Iranian’s civilization and culture.
